FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CONTACT: Toby Milroy Karate for Kids, Family Center 386 747-0774 Local Martial Arts School Offers Free Adult Self-Defense & PPCT Class Orange City, Florida, June 30th 2003. – Karate for Kids Family Center will present an adult self-defense and Pressure Point Control Tactics class free to the public from 8:00p.m. to 9:00p.m., each Monday in the month of July, at the Orange City Location. “We will be covering the fundamentals of self-defense, beginning with developing awareness, and continuing to basic escapes and joint manipulation.” said Chief Instructor Toby Milroy. “We are also inviting all local law enforcement, security personnel, fire departments, and first responders to learn some of the basics of our Pressure Point Control Tactics method of subject control. This class has been very popular in the past, and even though it is a free session you must reserve you position in the class by calling Karate for Kids Family Center at (386) 774-9996. The school is located in the “K-Mart” shopping center next to the “Hong Kong Buffet” in Orange City. Each class will include discussions and physical practice time. Wear loose fitting workout clothes, and you may want to bring a note pad and pen to take notes. The school provides professional instruction in the art of Songahm Taekwondo. They offer specialized classes for several age groups.
