Orange City Florida, Karate for Kids School Offers Free Adult Self-Defense Class 2005Orange City, Florida, January 24th 2005. – Karate for Kids Family Center in Orange City Florida, will present an adult self-defense and Pressure Point Control Tactics class free to Stetson University Students from 7:30p.m. to 9:00p.m., Monday January 24th. “We will be covering the fundamentals of self-defense, beginning with developing awareness and continuing to basic escapes and joint manipulation.” said Chief Instructor Toby Milroy. “We are happy to invite the local college student who are living on campus to learn some of the basics of our Pressure Point Control Tactics method of self-defense. This class has been very popular in the past, and even though it is a free session you must reserve you position in the class by calling Karate for Kids Family Center at (386) 774-9996. The school is located in the “K-Mart” shopping center at 852-30 Saxon Blvd, Orange City Florida. This class will include discussions and physical practice time. Wear loose fitting workout clothes, and you may want to bring a note pad and pen to take notes. They offer specialized classes for several age groups.
